This Chevrolet Camaro Blue Neon Clock is stunning to look at. The clock's face is midnight black with steel accent numbers and matching lettering. 'Camaro by Chevrolet' is featured at the center of the clock's face. The picture does not come close to showing how great this clock will look in your home. The bezel is chrome plated and the blue neon tube coordinates nicely with the black and steel accented contrasting face. Perfect gift for classic car buffs or for your own man cave, garage, workshop, office or den.

The Camaro legend was born Sept. 29, 1966 when GM introduced it’s answer to Ford‘s popular Mustang. The Camaro, which shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967, was designed to bring the sports car driving experience to the average driver. The Camaro was classified as a pony car and some versions also classified it as a muscle car. There were only 2 Camaro models, the Sport Coupe and the Convertible, and each could be built with no less than 60 factory options, 4 of which were just the engines. Four distinct generations of the Camaro were developed before production ended in 2002. The Camaro was revived on a concept car that evolved into the fifth-generation Camaro for which production started on March 16, 2009 in LS, LT and SS trim levels. On May 16, 2015, Chevrolet introduced the sixth generation Camaro at Belle Isle park in Detroit. The launch, complete with previous generation Camaros on display, coincided with the vehicle's upcoming 50th birthday.

Originally called the Chevrolet Motor Company, the auto manufacturer was founded by a man named William Durant in 1911. The company's name came from a partnership that Durant had with a well-known race car driver named Louis Chevrolet. The partnership between Chevrolet and Durant folded due to a disagreement over the price point and design of vehicles being produced. In 1917 Durant, who was now president of General Motors, acquired the Chevrolet Motor Company. This was also the first year that a Chevrolet truck was manufactured. Three years later in 1920, Chevrolet was the third most popular automotive brand in the country, following Ford and Dodge.Today, Chevrolet continues its legacy of quality. The company, which now falls under the parent brand General Motors, produces cars, trucks and SUVs known for their durability, stylish appearance, comfort and reliability.
